Every year Russia is becoming a more and more attractive destination for traveling. It is an extremely diverse and welcoming country with different climatic zones and landscapes. In this list, we came up with the most inspiring boutique hotels in Russia that will make your stay in the biggest country in the world even more exciting!
LA DATCHA BY OLEG TINKOV – Astrakhan
After success in Courchevel, Forte dei Marmi, and Val Thorens, entrepreneur Oleg Tinkov has opened the first private guest complex in Russia “La Datcha” in Astrakhan. The creative concept of the La Datcha Tinkoff Collection was developed by architect Vasily Shprits. When designing the façade, the architects proceeded from the image of a landing stage – a floating pier, to which steamships moored on the Volga.
As Oleg Tinkov says: “I turned to the best designers, architects, and craftsmen to create for you a unique collection of luxury houses. Every house has its own story, welcome to mine.”
UTESOV HOTEL – Anapa
Authentic first designer hotel Utesov in the rock with the slogan: “We moved mountains for you”.
For each category (by the way, there are no standard rooms here, the countdown starts from the Junior Suite) its own color scheme has been chosen: pistachio, light lilac, chocolate, or sky blue. Furniture, lighting, and accessories are not repeated, making each space unique and cozy in its own way. They also have an amazing Thermal spa with a sea view.
MOSS HOTEL – Moscow
In the stunning interiors of the MOSS Boutique hotel, an ecological concept is implemented (that is very unusual for Moscow) – even moss “grows” here in the elevator shaft. Most of the interiors of the hotel were designed by the famous architect Natalya Belonogova, NB-studio.
A venue MOSSART art gallery is skillfully integrated into the MOSS space, in which the works of contemporary Russian and foreign artists are carefully selected.
VILLA PERLOV – Saint-Petersburg
The concept of Villa Perlov is based on two ideological principles – on the one hand, a unique experience of staying in an extraordinary space of a design hotel, and on the other hand, the creation of comfort that would allow guests to feel at home in St. Petersburg.
At Villa Perlov, each of the rooms tells its own design story. Guests are expected to have full-fledged apartments with walk-in closets, bedrooms, large bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchens. Villa Perlov rooms are a visual guide to modern trends, and this is no coincidence: the hotel has become another project of the famous St. Petersburg Design Gallery “Bulthaup”, which has been representing the best international brands for more than twenty years.
UTKINO COUNTRY HOUSE – Rostov region
Utkino Country House is a premium-class countryside hotel & spa complex located in the Rostov Region, on the banks of the Manych River. This is, indeed, a paradise of nature with its own equestrian club and restaurants – the project of the famous businessman Alexei Frolov.
Interiors in fashionable gray, beige and black colors with upholstery made of natural linen, wool, and leather were designed by talented designer Valeria Romashko. All forty-eight rooms are furnished with classic American Restoration Hardware furniture.
MYSTERY OF KAMCHATKA – Paratunka, Kamchatka
“A place for a good rest and impressions of a lifetime” – this is how the large hotel and restaurant complex “MYSTERY of Kamchatka” positions itself.
On the territory of the complex, there are guest cottages with separate rooms, a thermal pool, a sauna, and gourmet restaurants. Fans of extreme and wild recreation can see steam-water fountains of erupting geysers in combination with a beautiful mountain landscape, thermal fields, as well as the stunningly beautiful Uzon volcano – a unique area on the Earth’s scale of manifestation of modern volcanism and a real museum of nature.
