It’s that wonderful time of the year! I just adore Christmas. The lights, the food, the music, the cheesy movies, and of course who doesn’t love receiving a fabulous gift! This year more than any other I think we deserve something special from Santa Claus awaiting us under the tree. With that in mind I’ve prepared a little luxury list of Christmas gift ideas to give you lots of wonderful ideas for yourself and the loved ones in your life.
Jewellery
Perhaps the most classic gift you could give someone is a piece of fine jewellery. Make that person in your life feel like royalty! Over the years I have bought many pieces of designer costume jewellery, however I have started to long for something more special, higher quality, and that will last a lifetime.

So that’s why this year I’ve asked Santa Claus for a piece from Cartier’s Juste un Clou collection. Designed in 1971 by Aldo Cipullo, the house’s designer, also responsible for their Iconic Love bracelet. The “Just a nail” collection is both utilitarian and chic, perfect for any fashion lover.

If the Juste un Clou is too edgy for your loved one, Van Cleef and Arpel’s famous Alhambra collection may be the perfect choice. The feminine and elegant four-leaf clover design is a timeless symbol of luck.

And if you’re looking for a watch for the person in your life think about vintage shopping. I absolutely adore vintage timepieces, especially the ones from the 1960s and 1970s. I myself wear a vintage men’s Rolex from 1969, the design is so simple and timeless, and you won’t be wearing the same one as any of your friends.
Pyjama Mama!

We’re all staying home much more over this holiday season, so a nice new pair of pyjamas is definitely one to add to your gift list. From feather trimmed to wild prints, you can’t go wrong! Get some luxuriously, comfortable ones for sleeping and treat yourself to a glamorous pair to wear during the day, perfect for staying at home and sipping some champagne.
Cocktail Bar
Speaking of Champagne! I think we could all do with a glass or two this festive season. I’ll be celebrating the New Year with my family via the computer, with a fabulous bottle or two of Dom Perignon! A bottle of fine wine or special champagne makes a lovely gift for a friend.

If you’re looking for wonderful gift for the man in your life, invest in some chic crystal glassware and drinking accoutrements to add to a side table or drinks trolley. A perfect way to have a glamorous cocktail party at home.
Beauty
What could be better than getting some pampering products this Yule time! There are so many fabulous beauty advent calendars in the shops. I like the idea of waiting and starting to open them from the first of January. This will give you something to look forward to when all the festivities are over.

If you don’t know someone’s skin type, or make up seems too daunting to buy, bath products and candles are always a good idea for any gift list, but go for a luxe brand to make the gift feel extra special. Some of my go to favourites are Diptyque, Jo Malone and Le Sirenuse.
Fashion accessories
If you’re looking for something fabulous for a loved one, you can’t go wrong with a designer fashion accessory. So here are some of the items that would be found in most fashionista’s gift lists. Scarves. Go classic with Hermès, their silk scarves or carrés, come in every colour and design you could imagine, and make a perfect present. Or go modern and cosy from Acne Studios, their large cosy shawl scarves are every Scandi fashion girl’s dream!

A hold all or pouch is an excellent fail-safe gift, as you can never have too many. Louis Vuitton’s toiletry pouch in the classic monogram is a perfect choice.
Paper love
I absolutely love beautiful stationary. It’s a lovely way to introduce luxury into your normal, everyday life. Whether it’s a personalised diary from Smythson’s London, or an exquisitely made Montblanc pen, you’ll smile every time you use them.

Coffee table books are one of my favourite gifts to give and receive. This year I’m coveting some more from the Assouline travel range. If you can’t travel in real life, let your eye wonder thanks to this glamourous jet set series. The new Amalfi Coast one is stunning!
Gift baskets

Since we’re spending so much time at home this year, a luxury gift basket filled with your loved one’s favourite treats would be well received. After they’ve enjoyed all the goodies inside, the basket itself makes a lovely, chic addition to the house. Perfect to use as an occasional side table or to store household treats or toys. The Christmas hampers from Luxe London shops Harrods and Fortnum and Masons are always much sought after.
Personalised for the little one’s
Personalised gifts for the children in your life are always popular with the kids and parents alike. I’m a big fan of the Harrods’ classic teddy bear. You can add the child’s name on his paw, such a sweet keepsake. Books are also a fantastic way to personalise a gift. The kids will adore their bedtime tales even more when they are the hero of the story! Wonderbly specialise in books that can be personalised.

Lastly, any parent would love a monogrammed pair of pyjamas for their little one. Perfect for photos by the Christmas tree.
I hope Santa Claus is good to you all!
