On today’s gourmet journey we take you to Marrakech’s best restaurants. This city never sleeps and offers amazing culinary traditions. There are literally thousands of restaurants in the medina of Marrakech and the overall Moroccan foodie scene is to-die-for. So, for any true foodie visiting Marrakech, you are in heaven.
Today we want to talk about our two favorite restaurants in the legendary city. Both are the latest projects of local entrepreneur Nouredine Fakir, who did a big success with these openings. Le Salama offers Moroccan cuisine and Le Palace has delicious Italian and French food experience. Which one is better? You decide! We couldn’t, so highly recommending you to try both of Marrakech’s best restaurants.
Le Salama
Le Salama is the place for you if you want to have a chic traditional Moroccan dinner with a romantic panorama view after a day of strolling through the hectic medina.
This has become our favorite Oriental restaurant to dine at or just for a drink at their rooftop. Because of the fact that the restaurant is extremely good located next to the famous Jemaa el Fna square, it is very easy to find and has the most amazing view at sunset from their skybar. We also in love with their oriental dance show and of course the food here is to die for. Also they offer shisha, which you can rarely find in the Medina.
The restaurant has 3 floors with each their own menu card. The first and second floors of this gorgeous oriental brasserie offer a colonial style complete with library and grand piano. One thing the floors have in common is that every night the belly dancers show their best moves and oriental dance expertise. Le Salama’s menus are both fine traditional Moroccan dishes as well as oriental tapas and light lunches.

Le Palace
Romantic, peaceful, amazing vibes and fantastic Italian and French food. These words to describe a dinner at Le Palace in Marrakech.
Declared one of the best clubs in the world by the Grey Goose–sponsored World’s Finest Clubs, Le Palace is everything you’d expect from the brand. Glitzy and glamorous from the moment you drive down Hivernage’s palm-fringed, villa-lined avenue to get there to sipping champagne at the mirrored bar.
This 2 floor glamorous resto-club for urban sophisticates has it all. Cosy, sophisticated, and peopled with international and Moroccan players on the see-and-be-seen circuit—formal evening attire is expected—Le Palace is a riddle of intimate lounges and dining rooms that ooze a nonchalantly laid-back sort of sophistication. Full-time deejays, live singers, cigar bars, a packed restaurant serving dishes such as the signature Crying Tiger steak ensure that once firmly ensconced within its gilded chamber, you will feel it’s a right choice.
If you want to enjoy a romantic evening out tasting the European inspired cuisine or experience fine dining with an extensive drink and food menu – we challenge you to dine here and feel as you have become royalty, in a palace of your own.
