Moschino Fall/ Winter 2025 Collection, Tools of the Trade, reimagined the concept of craftsmanship by mixing the rawness of workwear with playful overstates. Denim, distressed leathers, and exaggerated silhouettes dominated the collection, giving a strong workwear influence. While feminine bows were either overstated or left as mere outlines, the motif of absence and presence was played with. The house continued the tradition of trompe l’oeil humor with oversized tool belts and handbag designs mirroring construction materials as accessories. A nod to the house’s eternal playful vernacular, the signature smiley face and flamenco ruffles made their way into the collection. The show finished with a politically charged statement, which was as timely as it is timeless, in reference to Franco Moschino’s SOS Save Our Sphere to the continued ecological crises.
