Jimbaran Bay in Bali has long been popular with visitors looking for both beauty and relaxation. Its beaches are calm and beautiful, making it one of the island’s most desirable destinations. During my recent visit, AYANA Resort quickly became my ideal location for picturesque beaches and Bali’s top attractions. This luxurious resort is part of a 90-hectare complex along the stunning coastline, offering guests amazing views, spacious areas, and a diverse selection of activities and experiences within all its properties.
Remarkable Location in Jimbaran
Jimbaran’s location is ideal, as it is close enough to Bali’s popular culture and nightlife yet far enough to guarantee a peaceful atmosphere. AYANA Resort Bali sits on an exclusive oceanfront that provides direct beach access and exceptional ocean views. This beautiful property guarantees a sense of privacy, even when busy. I enjoyed massive open spaces filled with tropical plants, gardens, and carefully designed pathways leading to numerous picturesque swimming pools. The views, especially at sunset, are undoubtedly among Bali’s most impressive.
Hotel Design, Rooms, and Facilities
Upon my arrival, the traditional Balinese welcome and architecture immediately amazed me. The carved stone walls, beautifully designed pillars, and spacious open-air lobbies made a strong first impression.

AYANA Resort Bali offers various room categories ranging from comfortable garden rooms to expansive ocean-view suites and private villas. My Ocean View room provided incredible panoramas of the Indian Ocean from a private balcony – just perfect for quiet moments of relaxation after a long beach day. Villas and suites offer more space with private pools and terraces, making the luxury experience even more luxurious.

A highlight of my stay was the famous infinity pool, well-known among travelers worldwide. Floating at its edge with magnificent ocean views, and caring staff ensuring every comfort was met, from chilled drinks to freshly prepared snacks, felt truly magical.
Dining Experiences and Cocktail Moments
Dining options at AYANA Resort Bali are exceptional, featuring multiple venues, each offering unique experiences. At Damar Terrace, I enjoyed Asian dishes served outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere filled with Balinese character.

The resort’s Rock Bar is a must-visit with its world-known stunning sunset views in Bali. Accessible via a short cable car ride down a scenic cliff, Rock Bar serves creative cocktails made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and International cuisine. Best sunset clicks guaranteed!

After sunset, the entertainment continues at “After Rock,” a lounge where DJs and live bands play, making it ideal for late-evening tapas and casual conversations with other guests.
For breakfast, the Padi Restaurant provides an extensive buffet of international and local dishes. Freshly prepared pastries, tropical fruits, and authentic Indonesian specialties created a perfect start to each day, which I enjoyed while watching the views of the resort’s beautiful ponds and greenery.

Kisik Restaurant offered excellent seafood paired with stunning ocean views, while Kampoeng Bali allowed me to experience the authentic Balinese culture in person. Guests dine around a traditional village atmosphere which is complete with local dishes cooked fresh and cultural performances, including dances and music, that beautifully display the island’s unique heritage.
Exploring Balinese Culture at SAKA Museum

AYANA Bali’s SAKA Museum is an unexpected highlight. Recently named one of the World’s Greatest Places 2024 by TIME Magazine, the museum explores Bali’s cultural traditions, including the significant Nyepi festival and the island’s philosophy of Tri Hita Karana which outlines the balance between humans, nature, and spirituality. The exhibits are beautifully presented, offering some insight into Balinese customs and history in an entertaining and informative way.
Exceptional Spa & Wellness Experience

AYANA’s spa delivers an authentic Balinese wellness experience like no other. During my visit, I chose the traditional Balinese massage that features skillful techniques along with aromatic oils to ease tension and restore balance. The spa staff were highly attentive and professional, which helped turn each visit into a genuinely relaxing experience. Surrounded by peaceful gardens and calming water elements, the spa’s atmosphere perfectly matches the Bali spirit.

My stay at AYANA Resort Bali was genuinely unforgettable thanks to the genuine hospitality, extraordinary facilities, and thoughtfully selected experiences. Enjoying the sunset views at Rock Bar, exploring cultural traditions at SAKA Museum, or simply relaxing by the infinity pool – my every moment in AYANA felt truly heartwarming and special.
