The Dubai International Boat Show 2025 highlights the future of yachting and has once again established its reputation as a leading global event in the yachting and maritime industry. Spanning five days, this 31st edition brought together yacht manufacturers, brokers, and industry leaders from over 60 countries, showcasing the latest advancements in maritime luxury, technology, and engineering. With impressive yacht sales, exclusive industry networking, and innovative discussions, the event reinforces Dubai’s status as a key destination for nautical tourism and business.
Unparalleled Sales and Global Debuts
One of the major highlights of this year’s show was the impressive sales success of top-tier yacht manufacturers. Sunreef Yachts, famous for its ultramodern catamarans, revealed the interiors of its 36.25m ULTIMA 111 for the first time, drawing significant attention. The company reported selling five yachts during the event, including the ULTIMA 55 and Sunreef 60, further cementing its influence in the luxury yacht sector.

Italian shipbuilding powerhouse SanLorenzo also experienced a strong response at DIBS 2025, with multiple yacht sales and negotiations. Head of Sales, Gabriele Stella, praised the quality of buyers at the event, stating that the Dubai market continues to show high demand for luxury vessels, with several deals expected to close in the coming weeks.
A defining presence at DIBS since its inception, UAE-based Gulf Craft used the platform to unveil a series of global and regional yacht debuts, reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry. With an impressive 18 vessels on display, including eight global launches, the brand’s showcase of Majesty Yachts and Nomad Yachts attracted significant attention. The unveiling of the Majesty 145 was a key moment, leading to its immediate sale, a testament to the growing demand for superyachts in Dubai. Gulf Craft also announced the launch of its Superyacht Service Centre in Ajman, a cutting-edge facility capable of servicing yachts up to 600 tons, further strengthening Dubai’s status as a hub for super yacht maintenance and innovation.
A Dedicated Brokerage Section for the 2025 Edition
For the first time, DIBS introduced a dedicated brokerage area, catering to the growing demand for pre-owned and custom yachts. This new section featured leading luxury yacht brokerages, including Bush & Noble, BehneMar, and Burgess, providing a centralized platform for high-end yacht transactions.

The addition of this brokerage section was met with enthusiasm from exhibitors. Anastazja Kociokowska, Business Development & ESG Manager at Burgess, expressed excitement about the show’s growing influence, emphasizing how DIBS has evolved into a key event for networking, sales, and future planning. The success of this segment further demonstrated the show’s ability to connect buyers and sellers in an environment tailored to high-value negotiations.
The Future of Yachting: AI and Innovation
Beyond the sales and exhibits, Dubai International Boat Show 2025 was also a stage for discussions on the future of the yachting industry, with Artificial Intelligence emerging as a hot topic. Luxury yacht builders are now exploring AI applications in yacht design, automation, and customer experiences, potentially reshaping the industry.
According to Farouk Nefzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Feadship, AI is currently being implemented in design and visualization, but its role in the actual yacht-building process is expected to expand. While AI is still in its early stages within the maritime sector, industry leaders anticipate that it will revolutionize how yachts are built, serviced, and experienced in the near future.

Dubai’s Role as a Global Yachting Destination
