Aston Martin prepares to introduce the Valkyrie hypercar which will return the brand to Le Mans endurance racing in a historical milestone. The innovative machine exists as the single racing competitor that originated from a road-legal hypercar and maintains eligibility for participation in both the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IMSA). Aston Martin takes a daring stance to demonstrate its motorsport heritage while showing strong dedication to top-tier performance achievements.
Aston Martin created the Valkyrie as a racing machine that carries every aspect of their road-legal performance heritage. A high-revving 6.5-litre V12 engine drives the hypercar through extensive testing over 15,000 kilometers on demanding racing circuits worldwide. The Valkyrie resulted from the joint development between Aston Martin Performance Technologies and The Heart of Racing (THOR) team to transform the car for endurance racing while preserving its original DNA.

Two Valkyrie cars from the THOR team factory will enter the WEC competition featuring drivers Marco Sørensen who won the FIA GT championship three times together with Alex Riberas and Tom Gamble who is a rising British talent. Ross Gunn and Roman De Angelis will lead Aston Martin’s competition in both championships at IMSA and WEC.
Valkyrie stands distinct from other models because of its special origin. The Valkyrie distinguishes itself from other hypercars because it originated from an already exceptional road car and received its racing DNA. Aston Martin showcased their luxury-speed philosophy through its Valkyrie model which unites exceptional aerodynamic performance with a durable chassis base.

Aston Martin writes a new chapter in their motorsport heritage which extends from a century of competing for victory. The top Hypercar category return to Le Mans exists for more than racing purposes since it serves to restore a historic heritage. The Valkyrie presents itself as a hypercar manifestation of British excellence through its craftsmanship and its aim to win endurance races.

The world will watch as the Valkyrie faces the best competition during its Qatar 1812 km race debut on February 28. Aston Martin is returning to its rightful place to fight for dominance while creating the possibility of legendary achievements.
