Do you know Garrard is the longest-serving jeweler in the world? The company started in 1735, almost 300 years ago. Since its beginnings, the brand was created for exclusive and special clients. Around this decade, the firm received its first royal commission from Frederick, the Prince of Wales. The origination of a fruitful relationship with the British royal family. In 1843 the brand was appointed the first official Crown Jeweler, that was a milestone for Garrard.
Of course, there is curiosity about how these royal-worthy jewels are created. The process starts with the experienced designers that sketch their ideas before finessing small details. Once all is approved, it is passed to the London workshop. In that place, artisans give real life to what was only on painting.
What more luxurious than a tiara created by Garrard for the British royal family? One of the most famous of all. For this reason, the brand has implemented a standard on its jewelry. If the queen uses it, all creations must be according to that level. The result? Breathtaking, beautifully proportioned work of art.
The brand´s new collection is called High Jewelry; as its name shows, it offers products from far beyond—pieces with the best designs, craftsmanship, and precious stones.
The collection has different suites, and the names perfectly describe the designs of each: Albemarle Abstract, White Rose, Snowdrop High, Kensington, and High Jewelry Emeralds. They include beautiful necklaces, rings, and earrings; created with the maximum standard of quality.
Choosing pieces from this collection can be a tricky game because we all want everything, so we took the hard task to pick some of our favorites of each suite:
Albemarle Abstract
Astonish white gold earrings, perfect for a dinner or a gala in the night. Imagine wearing those with a dress from your favorite designer!
White Rose Suit
This unique garment for the neck is inspired by the heart-shaped Cullinan V diamond. The White Rose high jewelry necklace is centered around a pear-shaped diamond surrounded by a series of radiating white gold lines. As you may know, the brand likes to give extra touches that add value. In this case: the diamond center can be detached and worn as an elegant and delicate brooch.
Snowdrop
The shape of this necklace is outside of this world! An 18ct white gold set with round white diamonds and oval and pear-shaped aquamarines. Delicate as it sounds!
Kensington
This suite perfectly describes the inspiration of the collection- focused on royalty! An 18ct white and yellow gold ring featuring an Asscher cut diamond center and round white and yellow diamonds. A bold ring that will catch all eyes!
High Jewelry Emeralds
Beautiful pair of Water Lily earrings, perfect touch of color to add a little bit of fun to an elegant outfit.
