The McLaren 720 s was introduced to supercars market in the year 2017, and continues to be manufactured by McLaren Automotive and is assembled in Woking, Surrey, England. It has been designed by British car designer Robert Melville and has the layout of a rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, in which the rear wheels are driven by an engine placed right in front of them, behind the passenger compartment. As a result of its dynamic performance, comfortable handling, robust acceleration, and lightning speed, which result in a great thrill while driving, the McLaren 720s have been classified as a sports car that can travel up to a top speed of 341 km/h (212 mph) and has a ¼ mile time of 10.3 seconds.
The high speed at which the McLaren 720s can travel up to is not as fascinating as the amount of time the car takes to achieve those speeds. With its capability of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 7.9 seconds, the top-notch acceleration provided by the car’s powerful 4.0 L M840T twin-turbocharged V8 engine is quite evident and jaw-dropping. In addition to the 755 hp (563 kW) power output produced by this extravagant on-road performer, the McLaren 720s is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission system that facilitates smooth and light multi-speed gear transmission by making use of two separate clutches for odd and even gear sets on either side of the steering wheel.

Moreover, the McLaren 720s is not all about dynamic performance alone, with its eye-catching body style options, one of them being a 2-door coupe and the other one being a 2-door retractable hardtop convertible, which gives the riders an option of driving without a roof in place, the car is by far one of the most attractive, good looking, and desirable road runners worldwide. Furthermore, what really enhances the look of the car are its butterfly doors that move up and out via hinges along the A-pillar, which not only makes entry and exit from the car easier for the passengers but are also a stop-to-stare sight for bypassers.

Adding on to the beauty of the exteriors and the performance of the car, the interiors of the car have been given a lot of attention n order to ignite the feel of driving a combination of modern luxury, i.e., a car built for speed and comfort during long rides. Along with Alcantara and Weir leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim, Bowers and Wilkins audio system, carbon-fiber racing seats, digital display behind the steering wheel that showcases vital information regarding the car to the driver when the car is in track mode, and touch screen on the center console that displays all the essential controls and within comfortable reach of the driver; the McLaren 720s comes with two driving modes, one being the default mode, and the other being the track mode, in order to offer the passengers a choice between a comfortable ride or an enhanced track driving experience.
