What’s the background of Nicolas Brochet?
My parents gave me the best things a parent could give to a child, that is love and value. And when I lost them when I was 20 years old, my best friend became my only family. Though it has always been my thing to make parties and feasts for people around me, oddly, it was that exact time when I came up with the idea of hospitality and decided to make it my lifetime business.
I’m a luxury gipsy and I like to discover new places, new flavors, new sensations as it always gives me new ideas to put in my new projects.
What was the inspiration behind your new project ‘International Fashion Music Art Festival’?
The desire to make life more beautiful. Life is precious and fleeting, so I think we should seize every opportunity to celebrate life and things which make our lives bright and vibrant. For me these things are Art, Music and Fashion. They are eternal and give sense to life.
What was the reason for you to select Magic Island, Abu Dhabi as the location for the International Fashion Music Art Festival?
I absolutely love this peaceful place for its astonishing beauty and comfort it gives me.
It is like the Maldives of UAE. Once you see it, you fall in love with this Island forever.
What was the idea behind creating the International Tunis Film Festival and does it correlate with the International Fashion Music Art Festival?
Tunis Film Festival was created as an event honoring and celebrating Women. Women are a never-ending source of inspiration and motivation and quite naturally they influence Music, Art and Fashion industries greatly. Women give birth and raise new generations of beautiful people making this world a better place. As to the new upcoming Festival, I want to use its platform to put UAE in the light and give it international exposure.
What inspired you to work with hospitality projects?
My answer would be – Chercher ce que veux la femme. The Woman is the answer. Women has always been my greatest and most powerful inspiration. I always do my projects, restaurant, clubs, hotels, with a view of making women happy, satisfied and enchanted by a beautiful atmosphere, exquisite ambiance, dazzling light and staggering glamour. Because the success of any place and any endeavor, a restaurant or a club, is directly dependent on how much women adore your place. If you managed to catch a women’s interest and touch their hearts, then you’ve won and get immediate success.
How is it like working with various luxury brands?
The best experience I learned working with haute couture luxury brands, is that you receive an amazing opportunity to work with geniuses and outstanding artists. You learn from them the details, all the precision, dedication, commitment and cooperation on maximum possible level.
As an entrepreneur and a luxury brand consultant, what motivates Nicolas Brochet?
To work with the most prestigious brands you need to be dedicated at maximum capacity, with 150% commitment. Always examining your work, motivation and your passion. Such cooperation motivates you a great deal to become better and better and as a result it brings you on the TOP.
You are associated with many luxury brands, do you have a favorite one among them? If so which one?
For myself, I choose Saint Laurent. I’m a Saint Laurent lover, I suppose I have all the collections for myself. And of course, also Alexander McQueen and Celine. For women if we are talking about glamour gowns, I love Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad, because oriental style makes women so glamorous. Of course, I also like Saint Laurent for women, along with Chanel and Dior.
What lessons have Nicolas Brochet learned from experience in this industry?
To excel all the time, to give super best of yourself, to always be on top. It is extremely challenging and exciting.
How do you plan to bring luxury brands to work for charitable causes?
For charity of course, I attract support of my friends, donators and sponsors from various spheres, surely not only from fashion industry.
What can you tell us about your future projects?
Definitely, most of my future projects will be in my home, my place of power – UAE, because I feel so happy in this amazing country. My new projects will involve new diverse events, hospitality and finance.
What advice would you like to share to young entrepreneurs?
My advice is simple and powerful – to do what you like. Dare to dream and realize your projects and think bigger.
