Long before its triumph on the red carpets and introducing the Chopard Red Carpet 2020 Collection, Chopard was a watchmaker that came up with innovative designs in the 19th century. He started creating pocket watches, and chronometers and the quality were so good that he became the official provider of watches for “Tir Federal” and Swiss Railway Company. His reputation became brilliant in Hungary, Poland, the Baltic States, and Russia, conquering the international market. Furthermore, he became popular among royalties, and even Tsar Nicholas of Russia became one of his clients. After several years, the Scheufele family acquired the company, developing different lines of business such as women and men, sports, and the high-end jewelry department. Nowadays, Chopard creates beautiful pieces, such as necklaces, rings, earrings, and even bags.
High Jewelry collections
Chopard has created a several of high jewelry collections. Their first collection, called Animal World, was created to celebrate their 150th anniversary; they developed 150 pieces, each one inspired by a different animal. The collection itself is bold and creative.
The last two collections, both called the Red Carpet are the definition of sophistication and luxury. They were created in 2019 and 2020, and specially coordinated with the Cannes Film Festival. Chopard is one of the long-term sponsors of the Festival since 1998. Caroline Scheufele, who is the Co-president and the Art director of the brand, has developed those colorful pieces taking nature as her inspiration.
Red Carpet 2020
Even though the Cannes Festival was canceled this year due to the pandemic, it did not stop Chopard to launch a breathtaking collection. Caroline Scheufele, inspired by flora and fauna from every country she visits, created 73 beautiful models full of color and details.
Emeralds
The brand created a beautiful set of earrings and a necklace that reminds of an Indian dream. The diamonds together shape of flower petals and a small emerald in the center of each. Furthermore, at the end of every part of the set, there are big and beautiful emeralds that make it even more radiant.
Black Opal
This ring is a total dream because of the details, the shape, and the elements used. It is a small jaguar made out of colored diamonds, cradling a black opal between the jaguar paws. This piece is defined as sweet and exotic.
Cultured White Pearls
This could be one of the most beautiful pieces of the collection. Using diamonds, pearls, and sapphires for an only piece is the definition of luxury, not to mention how stunning the piece is. A necklace made out of white pearls all over the neck, ending with an element of fauna, a parrot composed of colored and white diamonds laying on a black opal and pink sapphires.
Diamonds and rubies
Delicate and precious necklace composed of pear-shaped diamonds and rubies that enlighten the piece. You will not want to wear anything but this necklace.
Black opal
These earrings made out of emeralds and opals combine green and blue tones. In addition, the earrings look young but classic, perfect for ladies with good taste.
Tsavorietes and Pink Sapphires
This clover-shaped necklace is a total scandal. A meadow of flowers in tsavorites, green tourmalines, and pink sapphires. This necklace contemplates flora at its best!

Going back to a classic Chopard, they made a female watch completely composed of blue and white diamonds.

Chopard created a beautiful and impetuous pair of earrings made out of blue sapphire crystals and diamonds. Those earrings remind us of the blue sky, ocean, and all the beautiful things we can contemplate in the environment.
Blue Diamonds
A pair of blue and white diamond earrings, perfect for gala occasions. They have an oval-shaped blue diamond in the center of the earrings that cause a splendid and delicate look.
