SUPER73® is an American brand of primarily electric bicycles, promoting a youthful lifestyle of freedom and adventure. Headquartered in Orange County, California, it has quickly grown to become one of the most recognized electric vehicle brands in the world, with a passionate customer base that includes A-list celebrities, professional athletes, and many more. The brand promotes an eco-friendly urban mobility style and to increase its range they are going to launch its first electric motorcycle. SUPER73-C1X has a naked style and reminds us of the mythical Café Racer style bikes, but with a modern twist that retains, in a way, a vintage style.
With a range of about 160 km (100 miles), a top speed that can slightly exceed 120 km / h is perfect for motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a comfortable, agile, and perfect option to move around the city.
This is a very optimal product from a performance point of view. They have resorted to a fairing type of wheel to decrease air resistance, an important feature that makes it more enjoyable to ride. It is 25% smaller than the average motorcycle, its reduced size is one of the reasons why we love it as an alternative for urban mobility. In addition, its seat height of 78 cm, is suitable for people of any height. It is very intuitive to use and has no clutch or gears and its throttle is located on the handlebars.
It has a chain, instead of an engine belt which allows it to emanate a sound during displacements. Like the other motorcycles, the intensity of the sound will change as the engine is more demanding, so it is expected to offer a different sound set to which we are accustomed in the electric car. Something that will make much doubt that they are in front of an electric motorcycle. In addition, the battery pack is placed as naturally as possible in the design. This provides greater flexibility to adopt an image that can satisfy the public. Everything seems to indicate that the goal has been achieved, as it delivers very balanced lines along the body of the same.
Its powerful speed is thanks to the mounting of the engine at the rear of the swingarm pivot point and the compact 15″ wheels. This, coupled with its fast charge, which can charge 80% of the total battery in less than an hour, allows it to take longer routes on non-urban roads, enjoying its pleasant ride.
It will be available from the first quarter of 2023. For the moment, the brand gives us the option to pay a small deposit to be among the first to enjoy it, and that will allow you to give your opinion and the brand to work with customer feedback, making the final bike the most desirable for future buyers.
