Where innovation meets global engineering, Russian-based automotive company AURUS motors, owned by a Russian automotive research institute known by the acronym NAMI, presents a first-of-its-kind, the AURUS Senat. The Aurus Senat is a powerful luxury full-size sedan boasting a 4.4-liter V8 engine developed by the team at NAMI located in Moscow. The car was born in 2021 and is considered the presidential state car of Russia. Backed by President Putin himself, the car rival the most notable luxury cars in the industry.
The car’s development originally started in 2013 and officially went into production in 2021. It has the capabilities of a sports car but is accompanied by premier engineering intelligence and a first-class interior. Its transmission is a 9-speed KATE R392 automatic, and its 4.4 liters was hand-developed by the group at NAMI. To make things even better, they got help from Porsche engineering, who developed the V8 twin-turbo. Its options package goes hand in hand with any other luxury automobile on the market. Easily adaptable to any conditions and climate, it is a versatile yet powerful machine.
The Senat is the first luxury car made in Russia, and AURUS is making sure it’s not their last. AURUS and NAMI are introducing the AURUS Senat limousine, a hybrid powertrain based on a 4.4-liter V8 petrol engine. A limousine with 880 torque, 598 horsepower, and 4400 volume makes it a pretty impressive piece of machinery. The car can be perceived as closer to an armored militarized vehicle by offering VR8/VR10-level ballistic protection. On top of its beautiful undercarriage, the AURUS Senat limousine is the official vehicle of the President of Russia, representing the renaissance of Russia’s industrial, scientific and technological potential.
The interior design of the AURUS Senat limousine uses premium materials, including natural leather, wood, and velour. Choose your preferred color scheme from a pure luster white to a pulsar blue, or perhaps you truly want to make it your own, and, in that case, AURUS offers an arrangement of customized colors. It is reported the lowest price of the high-end car will cost 18 million rubles ($245,000), with speculation that it could reach a worth of $300,000. It is being put into production in 2021 at the Sollers JSC factory in Yelabuga. The AURUS Senat itself is part of the Kortezch series, which will ultimately include a van and an SUV in the near future. AURUS is hitting the automobile industry by storm, and with the backing of President Putin himself, it won’t be long until AURUS has become a household name at the pinnacle of the luxury car market.
