“It has always been a passion of mine to create truly fashionable clothes so that I could express my own individuality and style. I do want people to admire the dress of course, however my true goal is that they would admire the woman who wears it.”

Every woman dreams about an exclusive and unique “fairytale” dress, not only while planning for her big day, but since she was a child. Without a doubt Vera Wang Bridal is exactly that: luxury and an exquisite symbol of a “fairytale” marriage ceremony of every girl’s dreams.

Concerning the history of the fashion house, let’s say a few words about the founder, Vera Wang. Her parents dreamed about her becoming a successful sportswoman. However, she had always been interested in the arts, and so she went to Sarah Lawrence College to study Art History. After graduating, she became the youngest editor for Vogue magazine, where she worked for 17 years. The next 2 years were spent working for the Ralph Lauren fashion house. The true change in her life was brought on by her engagement to Arthur Becker.

The struggle she had when choosing her wedding dress was the “push” that inspired her to create her own design studio and the first collection of “haute couture”. The stunning success of it was the reason Vera Wang decided to continue working in the industry. She explains such success: “The whole idea of femininity is the bizarre femininity. No sugary or girly designs. The dress should be sophisticated and subtle.”

Just a little overloaded, piled and absolutely unimaginable, in a good way, models have become the symbol of the Vera Wang Bridal brand. The use of unique fabrics and their rich quality allows one to where the dresses to events ranging from black tie to dressy casual. Initially the bet was on pure individuality but now the brand has moved on to delivering collections that are more affordable for all women. This, of course, will not have any negative effect on the looks of the dresses.

The choice of a Vera Wang dress is due to a number of facts, such as individuality, uniqueness, originality, and comfort. All are vitally important for any wedding. Since every Vera Wang dress is usually embellished with accessories and decorations it is highly recommended to keep the look simple with an incredible hairstyle and a Vera Wang accessory.

Vera Wang’s works of tailored art have been chosen for the weddings of celebrities such as Kate Hudson, Heidi Klum, Niki Taylor, Avril Lavigne, Kate Beckinsale, Sophia Bush, Andy McDowell and Sarah Michelle Gellar. There are also occasions when they are worn by characters in movies and TV shows. Take for example, the ever classic Charlotte York from “Sex and the City” who always preferred a Vera Wang dress.
