On September 22, as Monaco prepares to welcome the world’s superyacht elite during the 35th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the Global Superyacht Forum is organizing a Curated Sunset Cocktail, an invitation-only evening at Fairmont Monte Carlo with Chic Icon as the Official Media Partner.
Held on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show, the gathering will bring together just fifty carefully selected guests: yacht owners and principals, family offices, shipyard leaders, investors, government representatives and influential figures from the international luxury community. Hosted by the Global Superyacht Forum (GSYF) and Capital Variation, founded by Lady Margareth Gonzalez, the evening is conceived less as a traditional industry event than as an intimate meeting of minds, with conversation taking centre stage against the Mediterranean at sunset.
Founded by Sekip Hardal, GSYF is emerging as a private platform connecting the senior figures behind the global superyacht ecosystem. Following its inaugural Miami summit, the Forum is developing an international circuit designed to bring together maritime capital, luxury and influential decision-makers in carefully curated settings.
The timing is particularly significant. From September 23 to 26, the Monaco Yacht Show will transform Port Hercule into the world’s most concentrated showcase of superyacht excellence, presenting around 120 yachts and more than 560 exhibitors. Yet Monaco’s influence on the luxury world extends far beyond yachting.
It is this convergence of art, design, wealth and maritime culture that makes Monaco unique. And before the yachts take centre stage, GSYF offers something even more discreet: an evening where the relationships behind the industry can take shape.
