In Milan, ETRO introduces the Vela Blossom bag, a poetic evolution of its iconic Vela Bag—reimagined for a softer, more instinctive language of luxury. Debuting as the centerpiece of the Pre-Fall 2026 collection, the silhouette shifts away from aerodynamic sharpness toward something more fluid, intimate, and sensorial.
The signature V-shaped structure remains instantly recognizable, anchoring the design in its original architectural identity. Yet everything around it has been gently transformed. The metal frame, once exposed in its structural clarity, is now fully wrapped in leather, softening the visual impact and introducing a sense of quiet continuity. Even the iconic Pegaso medallion is reinterpreted as a leather-covered disc, its presence now suggested through subtle embossing rather than shine.

This is not a reinvention of form, but of feeling. The Vela Blossom is defined by tactility—by surfaces that invite touch and materials that respond to movement. The handle and body are constructed from exceptionally supple leather, allowing the bag to adapt naturally to the rhythm of the body, almost as if it were shaped in real time by its wearer.
Color plays a deeply atmospheric role. Nappa leather appears in black, ivory, and plum, while suede introduces richer, earth-bound tones of dark brown and sand. A gradient-dyed leather version stands out as the most poetic expression—its shifting hues echoing natural transitions, like light dissolving across landscape.

In this new interpretation, luxury becomes less about structure and more about sensation. The Vela Blossom feels like a pause in motion—an object that holds both discipline and softness in perfect balance.
Available from late March 2026 in ETRO boutiques worldwide and selected retailers, it marks a quiet yet decisive evolution: from sharp design object to living, breathing accessory.
