Amina Muaddi has been a buzzing name in the shoe industry and it’s for all the good reasons! The brand was founded by Amina Muaddi and quickly rose to fame and established itself as an iconic label. The half-Romanian, half-Jordanian made her presence be felt in the fashion industry with her style of creating fun, bright and innovative designs, she flipped the fashion game with her out of the box heel designs.

It was then she decided to venture onto her own path and released her label in 2018 with Tina Kunakey fronting the campaign , with only six months of being launched; Muaddi’s innovative designs had already become the talk of the high fashion world, not to mention the brand went onto to become the most searched shoe brand of late 2019. She was also awarded the Designer of the Year award at the 2019 Footwear News Achievement Awards.
Various well known faces including Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kendall Jenner have been spotted wearing the feminine and sophisticated designs by the label. One of her most sought after shoes under her line was “Begum Glass Shoes”, talk about real life Cinderella glass slipper but more practical! The shoes were made with PVC material making it just the perfect shoes for dancing the night away. More importantly, they were topped with sparkling Swarovski crystals to add a little bling to the already stunning shoes. The shoes ended up being a huge success that it was removed from Muaddi’s Fall Collection, for the very reason being that she wanted her customers to feel like they own a unique and luxurious product that not a lot of people own which would make it all the more special.
The most iconic pieces of Amina Muaddi in her brand is undeniably her signature style, the graphic pyramid shaped heel. It was not only innovative and trendy but highly comfortable because of the more surface area in the heel, making it the perfect for on to go. People didn’t have to sacrifice fashion for comfort which in itself made her label much more appealing.
This garnered the attention of one of the biggest names in the world, the one and only, Rihanna who absolutely fell in love with Muaddi’s designs. Not long after, the musician-businesswoman enlisted Muaddi to design shoes for her latest drop for Fenty makeup line and even sported designs of Amina Muaddi for her trendsetting fashion show, SavagexFenty, which broke the internet.
