For Van Cleef & Arpels, the night sky has long been more than a source of inspiration—it is a language of poetry, symbolism, and personal destiny. With its latest additions to the Zodiaque collection, the Parisian Maison once again turns its gaze upward, translating the timeless allure of the constellations into jewelry designed to be worn close to the skin—and to the soul.
Inspired by the original Zodiac medals that first appeared in the 1950s, the new creations revisit a cherished chapter of the Maison’s heritage through a contemporary lens. Twelve bracelet designs reinterpret the iconic medals in a refined, wrist-friendly format, each crafted in gold and suspended delicately from a chain so it moves freely with every gesture. Measuring a discreet 16 millimeters in diameter, the medals are positioned near the clasp, allowing their symbolism to reveal itself subtly rather than ostentatiously.

Each piece bears two distinct faces: one side depicts a sculptural representation of a Western Zodiac sign, while the reverse reveals its symbol and astrological dates in Roman numerals. The imagery is rich with nuance—the serene Virgo accompanied by a unicorn, the textured fleece of Aries poised in motion, the commanding presence of Leo drawn from ancient iconography. Executed using the traditional stamping technique, some designs require up to eight strikes to achieve their remarkable precision, followed by meticulous hand-finishing that imparts a soft patina and luminous polish.
Expanding the collection’s versatility, Van Cleef & Arpels also offers the Zodiac medals in white gold, designed to slide onto chains of varying lengths for effortless styling. Whether worn as a bracelet, pendant, or layered talisman, each piece becomes an intimate expression of identity.

More than adornment, the Zodiaque collection is a reflection of the Maison’s enduring fascination with the cosmos—a dialogue between heritage and modernity, craftsmanship and meaning. In these poetic constellations, Van Cleef & Arpels reminds us that luxury, at its finest, is deeply personal.
